FAQ's:
1. What does a chiropractor do?
A chiropractor focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing problems related to the spine, joints, and nervous system. Treatment may include gentle adjustments, soft tissue work, and exercises to help restore movement and reduce pain.
2. What happens during my first appointment?
Your first visit includes a detailed consultation, examination, and discussion about your health history and goals. If it’s appropriate and safe, treatment may also begin at this appointment. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions.
3. Do chiropractic adjustments hurt?
Most patients find adjustments comfortable and even relieving. You may feel some mild soreness afterward (similar to post-exercise), which usually settles quickly.
4. How long is each session?
-
New Patient Consultation: Around 45–60 minutes
-
Routine Adjustment: Around 15–30 minutes
Times may vary slightly depending on your needs and progress.
5. Do I need a GP referral?
No — you can book directly without a referral. Chiropractors are primary contact practitioners, meaning you can see us directly for assessment and care.
6. Are you registered and insured?
Yes. I’m fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and hold professional indemnity insurance in line with regulatory requirements.

I work from a professional home-based clinic in Hazel Grove. The full address is 9 Cotswold Avenue, Hazel Grove, Stockport, SK7 5HJ.

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is best — something that allows you to move easily. You may be asked to remove outer layers for assessment or treatment, but modesty is always respected.
9. How do I pay for my appointment?
Payments can be made securely online through Cliniko when booking.
10. What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans change. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged

This varies depending on your condition and goals. After your first consultation, we’ll outline a personalised plan and review your progress regularly.
12. Is Chiropractic care safe?
